Schooner Aurora – ALL SAILS DISCONTINUED FOR THE 2023 SEASON

We regret to inform you that the Schooner Aurora, operated by The Newport Experience, was hit by another vessel on the water on Wednesday, June 28th. We want to assure you that no injuries were reported during the incident. However, due to safety protocols and regulations, we are unable to resume sailing until a comprehensive inspection by the Coast Guard has been completed.

The safety and well-being of our crew and passengers are our utmost priority. As a result, we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that the Schooner Aurora undergoes a thorough assessment to guarantee its seaworthiness. We are working closely with the Coast Guard to expedite the inspection process and to project a timeline for repairs. We will be reaching out to all affected parties individually.

During this time, all scheduled events and bookings will be temporarily suspended. We understand this may cause inconvenience for those who have made reservations or were planning to embark on an unforgettable journey with us. We deeply apologize for any disruption this may cause, and we assure you that our team is actively working to accommodate affected customers by offering refunds, rescheduling options, or alternative arrangements.
